I've been studying on my own for a few months now, reading various druid authors, trying to decide if this was truly the path for me. Oddly, for a person who is still very unsure about anything that triggers my Christian upbringing, I rely a lot on my tarot cards. The pictures give me a way to see outside of the situation. Each time I thought about the OBOD course, the cards would always read positively. The more I thought, the less I could find any reason to not try it out. So here I am, starting my very first Gwersi for the Bardic Grade.
I don't really know what I expect to find. I hope to find a guiding spirituality, something that I can believe in and find comfort in. I hope to renew a sense of wonder for the world that I lost sometime around becoming a real adult. I hope to discover the path through the verdant forest that leads me to the sacred.
