To Know

My first mistake, but an easily fixed problem: The first gwersi arrived, and I dove right in. Two days later, the introductory material arrived. No wonder the first gwers made little sense; I hadn't gone through the precursory information.  I have started over with the first gwers of the introduction, and am feeling much happier now.

Druidry, to me at this moment, means accepting that I have a feral side, a wild woman inside of me who is begging to be released.  It means knowing the secrets of nature. It means working in harmony with natural rythms. It means noticing more, being more observant of my surroundings and the hidden processes that are going on everyday.  It means understanding the messages that are left by that cosmic force that we cannot define.  I think above everything, it just means to know. To know all the things I have listed, and more.  To gather and understand the knowledge that men have forgotten.

This isn't to say that my definition will never change. In fact, I expect it to. But as of this moment, that is what comes to mind when I think of Druidry.

Blessings on your journey,

Sparrow
